Founder Steve Trank: A smart step in a long career.

Brand Visual founder and acting principal Steve Trank has more than 25 years of professional photographic and imaging experience. He has worked as both a traditional film shooter and an early adopter of digital technologies, and has managed large photography studios and integrated creative marketing services.

The greater part of Steve’s career, however, has been spent behind the camera, creating rich imagery for advertising in his own commercial studios both in Columbus, Ohio, and Los Angeles. Steve has been a guest lecturer and adjunct professor at a number of colleges, most recently teaching digital imaging at the Columbus College of Art and Design. Steve has a BFA from the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California.
